Well according to the BBC the UK are getting a breifing tonight about the iPhone 4, so why is this a day earlier than the US briefing?

It says the conference is on the 16th when I open that page. The date of the article is 15th.

Calm down, the article previously noted the conference as being on the 15th July. This was a typo which has now been fixed.
