How long does it take for the APP to be approved by Apple?

How long does it take for the APP to be approved by Apple? :apple:

I submitted by app exactly last week and the status hasn't changed at all. It is still:
Waiting for review

Someone told me it only took a few days, one person claimed hers was "Waiting for review" for 3 months 😱.

Anyway... does anyone know? Please reply. 🙂
 
Well it could be a while because right now they are extra busy sifting through iOS4 updates.
 
Grass doesn't grow any faster if you just watch it, I guess same goes if your just reloading a page, why not work on improving the code for another update
 
I submitted "Items for a Lull in Conversation" on July 5th, and it stayed at "Waiting for Review" for 6 days, then it went to "In Review" for about 2 hours, then "Approved".
 
Worst case for me:
7 days waiting for review
1 day in review

Fastest:
6 days waiting
a few hours in review
 
mine took about 5-6 days.

Sat in: Waiting for Review for 5 days
Sat in: In Review for a few hours

so it looks like the min is about 5 days or so.
