Today is Veterans Day so everyone should take some time to salute the troops.

yesh, buying/wearing a poppy over here in the U.K.
an awful lot that we shouldn't forget.
I'm not sure the establishments like to teach this sort of history.

He certainly deserves that honor. Once a Marine always a Marine. I heard a General on the Radio last night, "We are a family." Be sure to say to your nephew, Thank you! ;)

Again a big thank you. That is a duty of great honor. He must be a very good at his job to be assigned to guard Air Force One. Has he ever had a ride on Air Force One? I got to see Air Force One up close just once, It was while I was on active duty at Offutt AFB in Nebraska. It was while President Ford was on a campaign trip.

I intend to honor the Veterans (or in the local dialect, "ve-trins" :D) by playing some Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. and maybe some Halo, can't ignore the future vets ;)

I like to honor them by saying thank you whenever I have a chance. Do the same with the Police.

I wear an American Flag lapel pin every day to honor them and our country. Actually started it after 9/11.
