Hello,
After installing Windows XP Pro on my intel White iMac (Dual Core) I have noticed some pixels ( I do not know how many but its about 3mm long) that look like they have water thrown on them. I do not know if I am explaining myself clearly. It is a small line that has many colors, it is not easily visible in all backgrounds but once you see it, it is disturbing!
So what is this problem> Is it a dead pixel? Stuck Pixel?
How can I fix it?

I will try, I think it is too small...
How do I take a picture of the screen with a camera? I have a sony T700 and when I zoom to the monitor it is all blurry

See if your camera has a macro mode.
But, yeah, it is hard to understand what you're talking about without a picture.

Are these "pixels" brighter than the rest? If so, then these are likely damaged pixels. What can pixels be damaged by, you may ask. Well, I will tell you. The simple answer is pressure. I once got Apple to replace the LCD on my White MB, when I had these problems. I told them that I had just started using it in clamshell mode, and that these marks are from heat. The genius said "okay we will send it in to our repair facility to be repaired."

That looks like some 'greasy' or dusty substance under the glass that is distorting the light from the pixels.
But as you say it only appeared after installing bootcamp.

If you run your finger over it, can you feel anything abnormal on the display?

Hello,
I am not sure if I feel like if there was a very small hole, I think I do feel it.

I agree, seems like something scratched the display. Although it is odd that it is so straight.

It is not visible, it is hard to nice it even when it is on. But I was going to sell this iMac soon and this is going to lower the price!
Also now that I touch it again it seems like it has volume, it is not a hole.
Maybe it is the cleaning product that my maid uses to clean the computer. ( I do not why she uses the ones used to clean wood, but I never said anything to her)
