Should I be worried with my iMac 2008?

I read here and there that those models tend to fail after 2 years; logic board seeming to be the most reported issue.
Does anyone have any indications and/or statistics about the likelihood of such failure?

People come here to report their problems. There are millions of flawless 2008 iMacs and yours is likely one of them. If you have AppleCare or other warranty, you're safe

No, you should not be worried. Don't worry about problems that have yet to happen. Only start to worry if you start to experience problems with your computer.

Thanks. I was thinking along those lines too, but third party confirmation adds some comfort :D.
Actually I have an issue with that machine but I never bothered to fix it, it's the optical drive, it won't read most pre-recorded audio CD's. Otherwise everything is running well.
The only time I had a big scare is when I tried to install Ubuntu on a Bootcamp partition, just to see what it looks like. The Ubuntu worked but my Mac OS got screwed, and I had no backup. Fortunately I managed to fix it without losing critical data. But since then I don't want to hear about Linux anymore. Linux bad.

My 2007 Alu iMac is fine, as is my 2007 white iMac at work.
