Want to upgrade memory in my powerbook. which brand memory from compusa is best to use?

Thanks.

No brand is better than another, really. I always say buy the cheapest one. If it's defective, you get it replaced until it works. It may be a little troublesome, but that's the risk you take. It's actually about the same risk that ram from any company will be defective, though I find I can never get a working stick of Kingston ram the first time around. Nonetheless, buy the cheapest stuff you can find. Just because a company doesn't have the best reputation doesn't mean the product won't work as well. Memory is memory. All companies use the same technology. The only difference is their customer service. Some replace the memory faster than others. It's a moot point if it's from a store like CompUSA, because they're likely to suck it up and replace the ram rather than leaving you to send it back yourself.
