display brightness on battery

no way to set it lower? on battery from full brightness it only goes down 3 notches

Does this work:?

System Preferences > Energy Saver > Battery > "Slightly dim the display when using this power source"

Edit: I see you already did that 🙂

i know guys....i meant there is no way to customize that setting? it only dims it slightly like said...id like it to go to half brightness if possible

Not really. How much it dims is based on the ambient light sensor, assuming your model is relatively new.
