OSX Slow Boot

Hello,

My computer seems to be taking longer to boot than it used to. Is there a way to see what applications and processes launch at start up?

I know how to do this on Windows, but am still relatively new to OSX.

System Preferences > Users > Select your user > Login items

Also, repair permissions with Disk Utility and select your OS X disk as #1 boot volume from Sys Prefs > Startup volume
