A terrible loss. I understand he'd been ill for a long time. He was a weird character. When he was bad, both off and on the table, he was awful. But when he was good he was unstoppable. Love him or hate him there were few players who could hold your attention like him.

A real shame, I still remember staying up late on a school night to watch him play in the 80's.
