Magic Mouse scrolling issue

I have a 27 inch, 3.06gig iMac, Magic Mouse.
Noticed recently that when scrolling up or down with the Magic Mouse, that I get that animated circular icon. I have to wait, usually a few seconds, until the cursor returns, before I can continue scrolling.
Anyone having this issue? What can I do to remedy this problem?

Is it happening in a specific app or all of them? Rebooted the Mac yet? Added any new hardware recently?

Happening in Firefox. I sleep my iMac every night, haven't restarted in several weeks, I'll turn it off tonight. And no, I haven't added any new hardware. I'll see if turning the computer off tonight makes any difference tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions.

I do the same thing and firefox has exhibited this on mine once in a while. If the reboot does not work, reinstalling firefox might cure it.

Upgrade Firefox...should take care of it.
