Does anyone know how to create an NSMenu (specifically a status bar menu) to act as a button instead of as an actual menu? I need to have my application doing some work, updating a status bar menu, and if the user clicks on the menu, I want a certain action to happen, not a menu to show up. However, I haven't been able to figure out how to connect an IBAction up to a menu and not a menu item. Is there any way to make this work or is it just not going to happen without NSMenuItems?
