I have an iPod Touch 2nd Generation running iOS 4.0 with iTunes 9.2.1.4 under Windows 7, and the version of Remote i'm using is 1.3.3. I have a PC with an ethernet cable that is connected to a wireless router, my firewall is off,and my anti-virus is Windows Security Essentials.
I connect my iPod to my computer, itunes recognizes it, syncs, and then when I hit add library in Remote nothing happens in itunes. the app gives me the code but remote doesn't show up under devices.
I have "Look for iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad remotes" checked off under preferences>devices.
Any help would be appreciated as this is driving me crazy.
