if you want to watch them on your computer just burn them as a normal file in Toast. If you want to change them into VCDs or DVDs for viewing on a TV set you need to reformat them.
Of course you could buy a set top DVD player that reads Divx files.
Check out this site for reformating files: http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9&sid=813972fd02f2e0dca473c109deec9cf8

As long as you have the codecs installed for Quicktime to play it, Toast can convert it to DVD, VCD, or SVCD. If you need an app to change formats check out ffmpegX (http://homepage.mac.com/major4/index.html) , it also has tools to convert what you have in to DVD, VCD, SVCD images. HTH.

Are you trying to make a CD that you can play it a DVD player, or just trying to put the file onto a CD? If you just want a copy of the file, you'll need Nero (or Easy CD, but I recommend Nero). It's been a while since I last used it, but you should just be able to drag the video file into Nero and press Go.
