So what's next before grab new iMac? iLife 10/11

exciting about the refresh today and gona pick up 27" i5 model. will you guys wait for one or two more weeks for iLife 10/11 "rumored of course"?
and another question is what do you guys think between i5 dual core 3.6 vs i5 quad core 2.8
 
There will likely be up-to-date program which lets you buy iLife '11 for around 10 bucks.

Dual core is behemoth in single and dual threaded tasks but when doing something that can take advantage of all cores, the i5 is the winner.
 
I am seriously starting to think apple is not going to release iLife 2010 this year. They are just going to release iLife 2011 next year in January or Early 2011.
I am not buying imac this year. I still think there are a lot of improvements can be made. This imac only has bump in GPU and CPU. (Very slightly)
I am willing to wait as long as next year WWDC when apple will probably throw in more updates for a cheaper price with free ipod touch with Retina display for me. So, no buy. As for others, enjoy your new imacs.
 
thank you，i think i will go with quad-core i5 45nm which is cheaper than the dual core i5 32nm i guess.

Looking forward to ordering my first ever Mac probably the higher end 27inch i7. I am tempted to wiat a few weeks though as I can get the back to school offer until the end of August, iLife 2011 would be nice to have on my first ever Mac.

I spoke with Apple Store tonight. The guy said if I order the iMac now (with iLife 09) and iLife 11 is released within the next 2 months, Apple would send the new release on disk for free, if asked.
