My iPod's hard drive has suffered a serious impact lately when I landed on it in a biking fall. This gives me good ideas for when the hard drive fails. 250$ for apple to repair it doesn't make much sense to me... :(

Personally I'd prefer:
Whiskey.
Tango.
Foxtrot.

No confusion there!

Why ruin a perfectly good iPod in the name of art?

I suspect that it was already damaged and then it was modded.

I dunno it shows him taking it apart.

This looks like grabage...I can't even figure out what it does!

Why ruin an iPod?

modded
LOL! It's more like "destroyed", or something like that :D

Which reminds me of that guy who put a PC inside a PM G5 case. It makes me wonder what would happen if some guy made a hybrid of an iPod with a Dell DJ... How bad would he be flamed? :p

But this? Oh, that thing looks really awful, we should call it FrankenPod! I have a 3G and I love the thing. Guess I'll have some bad dreams this night

So... What's it do?

I am horribly confused and don't understand what it is. Explain somebody.

Listen longer with up to 4 years* of battery life

Hell I'd buy it for that. :D I wonder what the * is suppose to say. Its not listed anywhere on the site. :) Prob:

“Warning. Listen in 10 second increments every 24 hours to obtain max battery life.” :D

lol! We'll use the term "modded" loosley here...

I think it's funny and clever! But to actually buy one? Wow...now that is more amazing than the actual product... :D

Idiot? Hardly

Past or present Sound Design student? Most definitely. :D

I'd know because that is my major and this, along with some of the other things on his website, http://www.censtron.com , are definitely something a sound designer would cobble together just for sheer enjoyement of completely weird and absurd electronic sounds.

Think of it as art, as opposed to an actual useful product. :)
