I have checked and in the Quinte area for us Rogers customers you can get it at: Futureshop, Best Buy, the Quinte Mall and the Rogers Plus in Trenton on Dundas Street.
It will not be available on launch day at the Rogers Plus by Metro on north front street. Which is too bad considering Metro is 24 hours.
Futureshop and the mall are open at 9:30am but Best Buy not until 10am. I will be camping out starting around 5am at the Futureshop.
Any earlier doesn't seem neccessary, the carriers in Canada have done little to nothing to hype the launch and according to those stores there has not been a lot of inquiries about the launch so far.
Also do not bother asking them about the details until you see them on a site like this. Rogers as we all should know by now treats their employees like mushrooms.
Just for kicks I asked at the Rogers Plus in Trenton if they had any details yet, to see if Rogers would inform their employees within 48 hours of the launch. I was told that they received only unconfirmed pricing that the iPhone 4 because of the newer hardware would cost $3,000.00 (yes that was what the supervisor said and she was serious) to buy it unlocked without a contract and $599.99 with a 3 year contract.
