New i3 3.20 vs i5 3.6ghz vs Last gen 3.33ghz duo

I can't decide which one to get New I3 and I5 have 4M of L3 Cache but old 3.33 duo had 6M of L3 Cache. Which one of those 3 is a best option??? Is there a big difference in graphics between Old and New?
Btw. can get old 3.33 from my friend for $1300

21.5 and it is only 3 weeks old. I'm only looking at smaller size because 27 won't fit on my desk.
