I know this song and I'm desperate to find out the artist or title. I've tried hundreds of searches on search engines to no avail. I think it's like a folk music kind of song. Here's the lyrics.
Feel these days roll, back into our winter lives again.
Feel the wind blow, scatters all these leaves like paper rain.
Tangled at the garden fences, brown and dry.
You call me out and point to a November sky.
(chorus)I must be Gahndi or Buddha or someone like that.
I must have saved lives by the hundreds everywhere I went.
I must have brought rest to the restless and fed the hungry too.
I must have done something great, to get to have you.(chorus)
When the cold comes, and you are by the fire fast asleep
I'll turn the light on to watch the snow outside fall soft and deep
When the winter, morning shines white and blue
We'll watch the dogs run through the field like children do
(chorus)
I suppose stranger things have come to pass
Many's the forest I can't see
I was so down and lost and fading fast
How did you find your way to me
(chorus)
That's it, that's the whole song. If anyone has any idea what song I'm talking about any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
