Imac G5

I'm new with mac and i got a second hand imac g5.
It has now gone black screen and usb ports dosent work so i can't wake it up. The screen is black and the light in front is very week, is it something that cna be repaired or is my mac gone...? Please help. Sorry about bad english. Norwegian...:o

What happens if you press the power button?

It starts but i dont get any power to the usb ports...
it just vent black screen "sleep" when i installed office 2008. i was gone for aprox 2 houres
and the fan is going fast and load...

open it up and use a can of compressed air inside, sounds like the intakes are clogged for starters

Nope that dident work. I still have the os cd inside it and i still havn't got any power in the usb ports:(

fans still screaming? is there a fan on the GPU? if there is make sure it's spinning

Yes all the fans are running... I can hear the cd is spinning. but i still don't get any power to usb or weake it from black screen. there is no movement on the screen....
