Just bought a 27" iMac, exchange/return policy?

So i recently purchased a 27" imac that i received Sat, with the base configuration and a numeric keyboard, and had a friend's and family (15%) discount. I was hoping to exchange it for a new one and i was wondering if anyone knew if the return policy was the same with the F&F discount. I've been getting conflicting answers from a retail store employee and when i called. I'm starting to debate whether or not its worth the effort.

AFAIK it should be returnable but don't know does the discount affect it. Keep pressuring them

Since F&F orders are done online, you'd normally not do the return in-store, thus the employee confusion.
