Apple Pro Speakers with Ipod mini

Hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me. Ive just bought some apple pro speakers off ebay and they are very cute!! How do I connect them to my ipod? It doesnt have the same jack (is slightly smaller) :)

Griffin makes an adapter to use them on other than iMac G4 PCs but I think you're out of luck for use on an iPod.

That's what Griffin says. But it's probably kill the Battery on an iPod pretty fast.
