Here is a new article that talks about ssd drives in os x and how it does without trim.

Seems to do well...just wish they had something newer to test than the 08 air. I'm considering the 1tb+ssd in the new imac and this is definitely a little reassuring.

A very interested read, especially as I just ordered the new Imac with SSD.

Now that the imacs have the SSD option, I'm sure it won't be long before someone completes performance tests on them.

Interesting. I'm surprised they didn't try dual booting to and performing there test again. I cant make up my mind on the ssd.

Very interesting read. Be nice if they tested a SSD in a Mac pro and see what happens.
