Does CL9 RAM work in the new imacs?

I bought the i7 imac, and am planning to upgrade the RAM to 8GB. There seem to be conflicting reports on the web whether CL9 RAM works in imacs or not.

CL7 RAM costs twice as much as CL9 in my neck of the woods, so if CL9 doesnt work then I won't upgrade.

OWC sells RAM for 2010 iMacs which is CL9 so it should work fine
