I just recently acquired the U2 edition iPod Video, and I have a query in regards to the display and whilst playing songs. (Forgive my naivety in advance, I've never used this model iPod before.)
When I'm playing music, I generally turn the hold switch on so as not to press the click wheel by accident. After engaging the switch, the backlight fades after 5 seconds, yet I can still faintly see the song info/time remaining on the screen.
Maybe it's just me, but I was under the impression that after the backlight faded, so too would the song information on the screen after a short while... Anyone got some advice for me?
