What does guy have to do to get some recognition around here? :p

At lease this time I spelled the article title right.

Thanks to the proliferation of wireless networking, laptops from Apple iBooks to IBM ThinkPads have the option for including a wireless card for less than $100 when buying the computer.

FALSE. All Apple laptops now come preloaded with the Airport Extreme card... Why don't these guys do a decent research before writing articles like this? "Look, we know a lot about technology, so much we think we can give good advice!"...

Built-in wireless connectivity is a HUGE deal, so, mentioning it and getting the facts wrong reveals some stupidity, IMO (and I don't care that until recently you had to pay an extra $100 for the AE card, it's this guy's job to actually confirm that before writing it down, after all, he is "searching for the perfect PC" :p ).

Glad to hear this:

Front-side bus is not limited to Windows-based machines. Apple Computer's new iMac computers also include it for faster data flinging.

Don't know how we all got along without them before!

Is it just me or has there just been a plethora of "how to buy a PC" articles that, while not really anti-mac, seem to have all the technical research of walking into an office supply store and talking to one sales guy?
