memory upgrade help

looking to upgrade my 12" 1.2 GHz iBook. Searching on crucial.com, newegg.com and some other sites i see prices for a 512mb stick ranging from $70 to $135. Cany anyone tell me what an appropriate price for this should be? also, what brands should i avoid?

I would highly recommend buying from OWC. They have the RAM in stock for $95 and they have great products and tech support... cheap shipping, too!

I would say buy a 1GB stick but they are so expensive that its probably cheaper to buy a 512 now and buy a 1GB later down the road when they are much cheaper but you will have to scrap the 512.
