I'm pretty frustrated with this situation, so half of this is just me venting. I ordered a G5, display, production suite, ram, etc. from a reseller in Illinois named Macspecialist. Nice guys, great deal on the package, etc. I ordered everything back on Oct. 30th and now have everything except the G5 itself. Every time I call Macspecialist to find out what the hold up is, I'm either told that they'll see what they can find out from Apple or I get no response. I realize it may be hard to find out from Apple what's going on with one little computer, but I don't think it's impossible.
The real point of this post, though, is to find out if anyone knows what (if anything) in my CTO order could be holding things up. Here are the specs:
G5 Dual 2.0
1 gig RAM (512 x 2)
2 x 250 gig hard drives
Superdrive
Bluetooth
Airport Extreme
ATI Radeon 9800XT
My guess is the graphics card, but I really have no idea. Any one else care to guess?
