Quick question for owners of a 27" iMac. What is the height, in inches, from the bottom of the Stand to the top of the screen? If someone could do an exact measurement that would be really helpful.

The tech specs only show the height of the screen (20.4") but do not include the stand. Any help would be appreciated as I try to figure out if a 27" iMac and Stand will fit on my desk (it has a shelf on the top).

Thank you

edit: For reference, the height between my desk and the top shelf, is one line shorter than 21.5"

I bet you're trying to avoid.....THIS!:

I literally have a centimeter and a few millimeters between the top vent of the
iMac and the underside of the desk overhang.

I'll get a ruler out tonight and let you know.

I believe this has been posted many times before on MacRumors, but the past consensus is the measurement IS from bottom of stand to top of computer, but that the graphic is deceptive. However, I'm sure you will get several users who will break out their rulers.
