Hi,

I bought a used iMac that was supposedly in "mint condition."

Anyhow the screen is majorly condensated and I want to clean it. I saw a video on YouTube of some guy using a roller to do this.

Does anyone know of any good products to use to clean the inner LCD and back part of the glass? I also need to be careful where to do this so not to attract any dust.

Thanks

Here's a pic:

Does that look like it's another kind of damage to anyone? It's looks that way when everything is off too!

That is not in mint condtion. That was damaged in some way. It should not be yellow. It is not right and there is a bright pixel in the lower left corner

Yeah I got jipped but not going to be getting my $700 back so I am going to try to fix it. My fear is that the LCD panel is completely damaged.

By the way the room was lit that way that's why it looks really yellow.

My 24" iMac also has those streaks although it developed them a while after purchase. Someone else also posted about them recently.
Is that some sort of inherent fault in them?

Turns out that it's the back of the glass that needs cleaning.
