Will 'SL Graphics Update' work with flashed cards (4870/4890)?

Apparently, Apple is seeding updated Graphics drivers (http://www.macrumors.com/2010/08/04/apple-seeds-snow-leopard-graphics-update-to-developers/).

Can any of our GPU gurus hazard a guess at whether these will benefit those of us with flashed cards, or will they more likely brick them, or do we just not know until we test them?

I don't want to get my hopes up for improvements that might never happen! :o

Good question, I'm about to receive a 4890, should I hold off
on flashing or will this update not mess with us?

you better dont install it for 4890, cuz I'm not going to make qe_ci patch for every beta, only for final version
