Can keyboard damage AG screen?

On google I found some suggestions about the keyboard able to damage Matte screens on older MBP.

Is this still an issue in 2010? In other words, do I need to put something between the Matte screen and the keyboard when the lid is closed?
 
This used to be a problem on the old Powerbooks. I had a 12'' Powerbook back in the day with one of these:

Very nice piece of cloth. I bought one for my 15'' i7 Macbook Pro shortly after getting it. If nothing else, its a great cloth for cleaning the screen.
