10.3.6 & FireWire HardDrives

Anybody experiencing any problems with 10.3.6 and FireWire harddrives?

After updating, my firewire drive powers up when connected, but does not mount.

Is this a known issue?

I know there are issues with data loss issues with FW external drives under 10.3.6. You will need to update the FW HDD firmware. As a point of info, the WD drives use the Initio chipset.
