Discount on "older" Nehalem Mac Pros (2.66GHz, 2.93GHz, 3.33GHz) at local Apple store

I wonder how much discount is applied to the older Mac Pros at the local apple store. I remember when the Nehalems were released the 2.8GHz 8-core Mac Pros were priced at $1799.

I wonder if I can grab the 3.33GHz Nehalem (older model) for $2500 at the store. Oh well I'm going to bed soon and will be calling up my local Apple store.

At this point, they've 2x systems listed:
2009 2.93GHz Quad + HD4870 + 1TB HDD @ $2999
2009 2.93GHz Octad + GT120 + 640GB HDD @ $4999

Neither is a good deal IMO, as the 2010 3.2GHz Quad is faster and $100 less, and for the same money as the Octad, you get an extra 4x cores (though slower, they'd be able to do more work in the same period of time).
