animate two objects at once in Keynote

How do I move two objects at once with Keynote? Is it possible? I want to be able to have both a picture and text appear or disappear at the same time. I can select multiple objects, but it only lets me choose one to animate. Any suggestions? Should I just wait until Keynote 2 to try this?
 
I have used Keynote from the first for delivering my training materials, and I haven't found a way to animate 2 items at the same time. In my opinion it is one of the most limiting issues in Keynote. Hopefully it will be resolved in Keynote 2.
 
ARGH, that bugs me too. I try clicking my mouse twice really really fast, but it's not the same effect. But hey, i learn to live & compromise. I love my keynote.
 
same thing

I just click first to make the picture show, then again really fast to make the words appear. I'm sure they will have this in Keynote 2.
