Hey guys, I am in the market for a used map, in the UK. I am not buying until December time, but wanted some input! I have around £450 budget, but the less I spend is better. It MUST be Intel. I was looking at the following macs. I have about 15 tabs open in my browser at all times, with MSN and Spotify music streaming service running in the background. I also do some light 720P Video editing for youtube.

My current machine is an Acer. Quad core, 4GB RAM. Geekbench score is around 3000.

So here are the machines that I think should be the bare minimum specs for what I want:

MacBook
Late 2007
MB061*/B
2ghz Core 2 Duo
Intel GMA X3100 144MB
Geekbench = 2698+

iMac White
Late 2006
2ghz Core 2 Duo
ATI Radeon X1600 128MB
Geekbench = 2637+

Aluminum iMac
Mid 2007 (Any Model)
2ghz Core 2 Duo
ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT 128MB
Geekbench = 2707+

BEST SPECS FOR MONEY

Mac Mini
Early 2009
2ghz Core 2 Duo
Nvidea GeForce 9400M 128MB
Geekbench = 2804
Geekbench (Late 2009) = 3229

I'm kinda leaning towards the Mac Mini. I have seen Early 2009 2.26ghz models boxed for about £450. Also leaning towards the lovely MacBook, for the portability and screen. Out of all of the above which is the best value for money?

Feel free to make any other suggestions too!

Mac mini. Preowned others more likely to have risk of problematic screens although you might be lucky.

Very true. My Dad actually purchased a 2007 MacBook for £300. It was being sold by a company, so he got a good deal. I actually saw a 2GHz Mac Mini on ebay for £350, so I think that's the route I will be taking unless a good deal on a MacBook comes up. Thanks for your input!
