I know when the announcement was for last year's iPod touch. But when were the touches actually available for sale? I watched the keynote replay today on YouTube, and I know they specifically said the Shuffles and Nanos were available that day. But they didn't say anything about the touch.

Just trying to get an idea for how long after Apple announces the new touch, that they will actually start being available for purchase.

After the iPod touch was announced on the 2009 Keynote, it took 2 weeks for the Apple retailers here in the Netherlands to receive the new iPod touches (22 - 24th of September).

I remember ordering the iPod touch from the official Apple store online (3 years ago) and that took 2 weeks aswel.
