It it possible to extend the signal of other 802.11g networks that dont use airport extremes? I know that apple says no, but lot's of things they say don't work do. I currently have a belkin 11g basestation, and my house is very big, so i need to extend the signal.

Linksys

There's supposed to be a firmware hack around for the Linksys wireless router to allow the use of Airport Express in a WDS, which is what you are trying to do. I haven't looked for it, since I don't have a Airport Express, yet. Google for it.
