So me and my mac were in charge of a powerpoint presentation tonight for somebody. I like showing the superiority of mac's over pc's, so when Finder wouldn't recognize any volumes on the cd, I was rather upset. I've never had a situation like this before. CD was iso 9660, burned with nero. I used pdisk to see if I could read the partition map, but pdisk hung while attempting to do so. Another mac user at the time(and member of these forums) suggested it could be caused by a multisession disk not being finalized. Has anybody experienced this before? I've read countless windows-created cd's without a problem at all, but for some reason even though this cd worked on the computer it was created on, I couldn't read it all. 🙁
