hey everyone,
i was just wondering what people use to cover up their scratches on the ipod. do you use stickers to cover the scratches, or do you just leave them?
thanks,
ipaqman
iskin (http://www.iskin.com/) cover.
Hides any existing scratches. Prevents any new ones.

I've got a G3 iPod, so I have the little black bag for it.. Works fine, though I have to get it out in order to change the track, volume or anything (unless I use the remote that is).
Get a bag of iSocks ;)

There is iCleaner (http://www.ipodcleaner.com/) if you want to try and polish them out.
I read somewhere that an ordinary household cleaner worked just as well, but I can't remember what it was :o.

iskin (http://www.iskin.com/) cover.
I got an iSkin cover for my iPod when the new Apple store opened in Oslo. It looks great, keeps the iPod from sliding off things, but collects dust like crazy, especially when it takes a ride in my pocket. I have to take a big piece of tape to it a couple times a week to keep it looking decent.

Here's a good article (http://www.ipodlounge.com/reviews_more.php?id=3389_0_6_0_M) from iPodlounge reviewing iCleaner and Ice Cream.

Theres is nothing better than ductape on an ipod. That is so sick. If you want something unique that is the ultimate. Whoever did that. I award then with 50 points. :giggles:
But to the topic i use thoothpaste and the inside of a sock. Just put the thoothpaste on the sock and you have to use a lot of force and time but it works great. Altough it doesnt do much for the chrome. When i first got my 3rd gen i put it in a sock when i went on vacation and it slipped out into a bag of power cords, coins and other hard evil objects. I dealed with the massive of scuff and deep scraches on the front until i found thoothpaste. It didnt fix them completely but it made it muccchhh nicer.

Um.. toothpaste. That'll make for a very minty iPod... I'd be um.. careful with it... like VERY careful. I assume you don't use 30 dollar iPod socks, right?
The duct tape could not be more classless. Geez.

True, You do have to be carefull with thoothpaste. Dont you bleach one or any special ones. But about the ducttape. That ipod screams out loud it belongs to a person with class. LMAO
