MBP 13 inch processor question

Are you able to buy an i5 or i7 processor and upgrade this computer. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but i dont know much about computers

No, you cannot do that. First, the iX CPUs use totally different socket and thus the logic board is incompatible. Secondly, the CPU is soldered onto the logic board so it cannot even be upgraded
