Just noticed the Snow Leopard Graphics Update, anyone install it yet/found noticeable improvements (can't install it until I get back home in a week)? Hopefully no problems for people with flashed graphics cards? I would like this update to let me run SC2 in Mac OS X; it's so much faster in Win 7...

I installed the new graphics update on my Mac Pro 1,1 with flashed 4870 (512MB, flashed with Apple's ROM). It made a HUGE difference in OpenGL performance.

Downloaded new QE_CI_Exotic patch for GU1.0 from netkas website and patched after the new graphics update. Its working fine now. Thank you

Odly enough just about everything. The screen goes jerky and blocky with any scrolling of any program. Especially web browsers.

Games still have the framerates, but there are lots of artifacts and almost like shadowing with fast moving items.

Overall it just 'looks' a lot worse.

I upgraded to GU1.0 and the QE_CI_Exotic patch for GU1.0 works fine for me too.
