POS(point of sale) software for OSX?

guys and gals, i was wondering if there is any programs i can get to use my iBook or iMac as a cash register or POS system w/ a separate cash drawer. can i get the same software the Apple stores use or similar?

Its out there, I have seen it. You just didn't look.

perhaps it might be an idea to use the search on this forum to find previous threads of this nature. i'm pretty sure it must have been discussed at some point before.

Is there something in the water on MR of late?

Maybe slipper was also hoping for some first hand reports also, it could be implied by the post.
