Apple and Target using same xmas theme!

I just saw Target use it in a commercial too. Just thought it was interesting

The only thing i see that could be related is the "give <logo>" thing, and even that that's a stretch.... companies know it's all about giving gifts (aka spending money) to your love ones, so they would emphasize the "give" idea... and it's not uncommon for companies to put the logos before or after a slogan...

If anything, it's just coincidence.

I think that the logo is part of the slogan though. You don't just read it as "give." You read it as "Give Apple" or "Give Target"

I love the 'give apple' theme - it's subtle and stylish.

Has anyone seen the screensavers they use in the retail stores (on the window) - it may just be london. It has a red big, and loads of 'stardust and it says 'give xxx' the xxx changes to photos, then movies, then music or something like that with each flash of 'stardust' Sorry if I'm not explaining it too well.. :o

I think apple should make a set of TV commercials out of this - each one like 10 seconds long..would be cool and great branding.

Yeah, the stream they use for their window displays on imacs. Its on every 2 windowed store. They do alot of retail only ads.
