I thought it would be fun to start a thread of pictures that are just plain wrong. The pictures can be of anything. Here is my contribution:

yea, like me. I dont want to turn this into a pollitical argument, but let me just say this. We are much safer(meaning we have less risk of being massivley attacked and losing thousands of lives again) with President Bush in office than any other person that ran in the early election race. That is a fact!

Unless you're trying to start a flame war, that was pretty much the definition of turning this into a political arguement. And if that is your idea of a fact, no offense, but don't go into the Political Forums.

It isn't necessarily meant to be a political statement. The honor goes to the person or persons that had the most effect on our lives over the past year. I'm very proud that it was Bush. They have also in the past had such men as Hitler, Stalin, and Castro. It is quit common for a president to get this honor, it has been of either party. So it would best to look at is as fair is fair. A holiday season of joy. ;)

Though I don't necessarily agree with you, I appreciate the way you made your argument, and I have to respect that. You may, however, be correct in your assessment. And I think it was more the way Rob587 put it than what he said... even if he was trying to be ironic. Which I got the feeling he wasn't.

Merry Christmas :D (it's ok, you can say it... even around the liberals).

Oh, but for the sheer sake of accuracy, even directly attributing the deaths of our troops to dubya only yields one thousand, not thousands. :D

No photoshopping is even necessary... he's already making about as big a fool as possible out of himself in that picture.

And as for the special olympics pic, sure it's insulting and incredibly un-p.c., but it's still funny... just don't take stuff so seriously. Same thing goes for the George Bush pics.
And sorry, I couldn't find any pictures of my own that were ironic enough for this.

LOL a FACT!?

Hah... and where do you look for facts? Do you actually have any evidence to support this? Considering that independent panels have concluded the yearly terror events worldwide have increased since the Iraqi war began... But acknowledging this would require that you also acknowledge things beyond your self centered world in which you can arbtrarily designate "facts". Again... these are OPINIONS... but dont take my opinions... just ask the terrorists:

Also... be sure to read Dune again... an interesting twist on biblical interpretations with a sci-fi theme.... Martyrdom is a scary thing.

Wow, what colour is the sky is your world?

He's done more to destabilize the world than anyone in recent memory. Let's see... he's made North Korea scared and even more unpredictable, antagonized the Russians and Chinese and encouraged another arms build up with the missile defence shield, threatened Iran, alienated and offended everyone around the globe including the US's best allies by treating them with disdain, launched an illegal and immoral oil war, lied to his citizens with made up intelligence, sowed a culture of fear (terrorist alerts - come on, does anyone really believe that?), damaged America's economy with reckless deficit spending, bred another larger generation of American-hating terrorists, continued to increase US dependency on oil instead of investing in alternatives and efficiency, drove environmental destruction forward, brought religion back into politics (because that works out so well everywhere it happens), brought in tax policies to increase the gulf between rich and poor which is sure to contribute the gigantic crime problem in the US, etc, etc, etc...

I, on the other hand, have never been more scared at the state of things in my life.

God, he even came up to my province, I believed to thank us (or "extend an olive branch", according to US media) for the hospitality and help we showed stranded travellers during 9/11, and he ends up spending most of his time lecturing us on missile defense and other garbage.

But there are things that help me believe things will end up being OK:
like this site (http://www.sorryeverybody.com) and the result, this one (http://www.apologiesaccepted.com).
