Hand Break settings for SD Tv shows?

What HandBreak settings do people use for converting tv shows ripped with Makemkv?

Makemkv gives me files around 1.6-1.8 Gigs in size and I would like to shrink that well keeping it looking good. The files will be played in Plex/XBMC.
