Looking for a home wireless music fix

Have a G4 PBook and Lacie 250GB D2 external drive. Lacie drive has my Itunes library.

Want to stash all peripherals (my music system and Lacie drive) in closet and use Airport Express to wireless connect my laptop to play ITunes tracks on my stereo.

Problem - how can I run my Lacie drive with the ITunes Library (about 25,000 songs) - wireless from my laptop in the next room???

Goal - turn my PBook into world's coolest remote control for music system with no visible peripherals...

Suggestions

you can't. there's no way to mount an external HD wirelessly.

one way i can think of is to put another computer in the closet, mount the HD on that machine and wireless access it from your PB.

Correct. Until wireless firewire becomes a reality (which it will) you need a computer to do what you want.
