Mac 17" Studio Display Ghosting

I've got an issue with my 17" Studio Display ('02 model) ghosting. Has anybody had this issue and is there a fix besides replacement?

By ghosting I mean when I close a window I've been working in, I can see a slight ghost of the window on my desk top
 
Is this a CRT or an LCD? If its still under warranty then take it to be repaired. That is not normal activity.
