I've always been intriqued by flip cases, but I find them to be mostly bulky, and adds to the process of using the phone. It's an extra step, and then you have a flap dangling off your head when on a call, or when you're holding it. Seems cluttered.

I'd like to hear from people who use it, though.
 
I had one for my PDA and always tucked the flap behind and then held it (so it was inside my hand rather than dangling above or below). I guess if you don't keep your phone inside a holster etc. then it really would add another step. Most recently, I've used holster cases and I *think* they are actually more time consuming.
 
A friend had one. Least to say he threw the dam thing to the Mississippi river because it was too annoying.
