Hopefully this will also kill the worry that Apple users would get sued for using Unix, like SCO was doing to the home depot type place, the car parts house and a few others.

It gets even better. In one of the other suits the evidence is starting to make it pretty clear that Novell really do still hold the proprietary parts of Unix, meaning that SCO have been suing people over something they don't even own. It will take a while for that to finish working its way through the court, but the writing is on the wall.

Back in the IBM court, the people who wrote up and signed the original AT&T licenses with IBM and Sequent all agree that with the way the license was intended to work, it was perfectly okay for IBM to donate the modules that they put into Linux.

In Michigan, SCO basically lost the DaimlerChrysler case.

Autozone is pretty much on hold until the IBM thing moves along more. The same for Red Hat. If IBM wins, both of those are pretty much dead anyway.
