Out-of-state restaurant client is trying to skip out without paying for work. Any information I can collect for presentation in court would be appreciated.

Maricopa County, AZ is one of the most on-line counties around -- so you may want to check out some of the AZ laws (ARS - Arizona Revised Statutes, i think) through the www.maricopa.gov or www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov sites.

That's if the court page at www.co.yuma.az.us is useless with regard to the the statutes.

Of course checking in the county recorder in Maricopa and the case records online may show a hit, never know -- a lot of cases get filed here, as do a lot of documents at the county recorder.

Thanks for the info. Services were contracted here in CA, so legal proceedings will take place here too, but I'll need to have my former client served in AZ.
